Fish Don’t Dance returns to the Horse & groom on Thursday 29th October after the uber successful September installment with Jamie McHugh (Underwater / Global Underground). The October edition is gonna go off as this is not only Head Honcho Dan McKie’s Birthday celebrations but also we have the house legend that is Allister Whitehead (Hacienda / Toolroom / Cream) playing his first gig in London in over 6 years. Allister Whitehead Pre-Event DJ Mix - Exclusively for FISH DON'T DANCE by Fish Don't Dance Events
Allister Whitehead first started Djing at the tender age seventeen and quickly came through the ranks to play regular guest spots at seminal clubs such as The Hacienda in Manchester, The Garage in Nottingham, Ministry Of Sound in London and eventually at Cream in Liverpool where his reputation was cemented as one the best DJs in the UK. However it was Allister's mixes for The Fantazia Compilations that catapulted him into the dance music history books and to the top of the UK album charts. Since then Allister has remixed some of the worlds biggest artists and toured all over the globe playing his brand of house music that's still sort after today. Allister had great success with releases on Mark Knight's famed Toolroom Record label and as a result is now developing two new Dance labels of his own which showcase not only his talent but up and coming artists, as well as some of the legends that have defined dance music with their remix work and productions. Look forward to seeing the first releases later in 2009/2010. Phil England EXCLUSIVE pre-event DJ Mix for Fish Don't Dance. by Fish Don't Dance Events

++++++
Filip Le Frick is one of the hottest rising talents on the house scene. He's already topped and been a constant top 10 artist in the Beatport charts, with original work, "Da Latin Bomb (Muzik Xpress), which was a firm favorite and is stilled canned by the Swedish House Mafia. His remix work has made a massive impact too, with remixes on Big In Ibiza ('BK - Revolution 2009', 'Oye Como Va' and soon to be released, 'Whats Love'), Nervous Records (Kim English - Unspeakable Joy), and the miami bomb that was ' Minsitry Of Funk - Tribalismo'. He is truly one to watch in the future as he becomes a regular player in house music.
On the remix tip for 1980 this time round are 'Trim The Fat', who delivers a cool electro club track. Next up is 'Karl Johan' who takes us on a uber cool progressive journey. And last but not least is a quality remix from 1980 head honcho 'Dan McKie' who delivers a cool techy twisted work out.
